The property is Grade II listed with the adj. cottage Manteg as "A mid 19 centaury pair of well proportioned houses forming a short terrace, colour wash and whitewash rubble stone with slate roof a 3 stone stacks, 2 storey five window range. Clifton is a 3 window range with rich stat between 2nd and 3rd bay colour wash front and paint stucco flanking strips. Manteg has 2 window range white wash and right end added lean-two, hornless 12 pane sashes. Clifton has centre 3 panel door with over light. Manteg door in left bay with 3 pane over light. A little altered pair of regional Georgian style houses, the position of the chimney stacks suggests that possibly Clifton was once 2 houses"
